Osprey Arts Centre: Performing Arts in Shelburne
The Osprey Arts Centre is located in the historic Dorothy and Gail Building on Shelburne’s picturesque harbour and offers high quality performing arts events, both amateur and professional, to the local and traveling public.
Each year, the Osprey Arts Center presents a full season of live music, theatre, dance, film screenings, youth workshops, summer day camps and community events.
As our local Performing Arts Centre, its a place we go to fairly often. I can’t count the number of performances we have seen there. Everything from local theatrical productions, to movies, to dances. Recently I went to see Terra Spencer and her band (Mike Farrington (bass), Tyler Messick (guitar), and Geoff Arsenault (drums) as they launched her new album “Sunset”. As always, it was a fabulous concert.
The venue can also be booked for special events such as weddings and private parties.
