I must say that at first sight the cottage is a charming and relaxing place for a weekend get away.
We loved our stay at Neptune’s Rise. The location was quiet and scenic. Being right on the bay we enjoyed paddle boarding, searching for sea glass, and even swimming. Brrrr!
Communicating with the host was helpful and always prompt.

Perfect House, Perfect Place
Our second time at Sanderling Beach House, and we couldn't dream for a better place. We love Nova Scotia for the untouched nature, and unspoiled beaches, lakes, and forest, but high standard accommodations are some times hard to find. Sanderling beach house is the best place we could have: charming, on the edge of the Ocean, tasteful, functional, very well appointed, clean. A wonderful feeling of home pervades the house. The kitchen is fully equipped, ready for baking, cooking, BBQing, etc. The 3 bedrooms are large, with comfy beds. The beach is long with fine silver sand, and hardly anybody is ever around. Our children and ourselves spent wonderful days playing and swimming (yes, swimming!). The night skies are among the most beautiful and starry in the whole planet! UNESCO's Starlight Foundation declared the area part of North America's first Starlight Preserve, on top of the designation as a protected biosphere! |
Reserve your Cottage!1. Choose Your CottageTo check in with us, simply review the vacation rental and cottage listings in the Our Properties Section; and determine which ones best fit your needs. You can search the cottages either alphabetically, or you can narrow down your search by using the search function to the right. 2. Check AvailabilityOnce you have determined which vacation rental property works best for you, take a look at the availability calendar to see if it is available for the weeks you are interested in. Scroll to the bottom of the listing to find that calendar and the rates. 3. Reserve The CottageTo reserve your Nova Scotia vacation cottage rental or accommodation online, simply complete the “Make a Reservation” form – click on the icon at the top of the list on the left hand column. 4. Sign the Rental AgreementOnce we have received your completed vacation or cottage rental Reservation Request, we will verify cottage availability and rate and e-mail you the Rental Agreement as a pdf document. Your full mailing address is required to prepare the Rental Agreement. 5. ConfirmationOnce we have received the Agreement and the credit card details or payment by cheque or email transfer, we will process the deposit and send you confirmation via email and details about when the final payment is due. 6. Information PackageUpon final payment a reservation information package including Nova Scotia driving directions, cottage rules and; instructions on where to find the key is sent via email. |
