
Rissers Beach Provincial Park
Rissers Beach Provincial Park has a stunning 1.5-km (1-mi) sheltered white sandy beach. Behind the beach is a wooden boardwalk that traverses an inland marsh that is home to a wide variety of bird species.
In July and August, the beach is supervised with lifeguards. There is a picnic area, with a playground, walking trails, changing rooms and a washroom.
Location
Rissers Beach Provincial Park is in Green Bay at the mouth of the Petite Riviere. It’s approximately 25 minutes from Bridgewater. For a scenic drive ake Route 331 either from Bridgewater or from Mill Village and follow the LaHave River.
