This relaxing beachfront home is a seaside sanctuary immersed in nature. Modern framed views overlooking the treetops, sand dunes, and pristine white beach. Beach Heaven is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to recharge. We were spoiled with wood fired saunas stoked by our hosts. We would highly recommend this stylish home to anyone looking for an ocean adventure retreat.
We had such a lovely time in Nova Scotia. It was everything we hoped it would be. Our children enjoyed the challenge of our own rocky beach. We even found a few intact sea urchins before the seagull smashed them. Other highlights of our visit were the "Trot in Time ride" through Lunenberg, Carter's Beach and Halifax. DescriptionLouis Head Beach is one of our favourite beaches. It is a glorious golden crescent beach that stretches for over 2 miles. The sandy beach and protected cove make it an ideal launching area for kayaking.Home to the endangered Piping Plover, dogs should be leashed during the nesting and hatching season in late June and early July. LocationThe nearest cottage to this beach is:Sanderling Beach House - this cottage is right on the beach To get to the beach take Exit 23, HWY 103 continue along this road until you come to a fork in the road.
