I cannot begin to tell you how FABULOUS our experience has been!!! We rented the Castaways Ocean Lodge and Helen facilitated EVERY step of the booking!!! The cottage and views are breathtaking and the amenities make you feel like you're walking into your own place! Everyone who stays here clearly is very respectful and tidy as the entire place is clean and in wonderful condition! Simply second to none....thank you soooo much for such an amazing experience filled with such special moments!!! Helen, you're a star! A perfect ocean side retreat.
The area around Shelburne and Barrington is a Nova Scotia treasure. Red Head Retreat is a perfect place to stay and enjoy it. Comfortably furnished, bright and sparkling clean plus you can sit on the deck in a rocking chair and take in the expansive view of the ocean complete with a lighthouse. The kitchen is well stocked and has two under the counter refrigerators. This was our third rental with Sandy Lane Vacation Rentals and it certainly won't be our last. Nestled in a beautiful location and only a short walk from Carter's beach (which looks almost tropical). Sea Star Cottage is perfect for honeymooners or a large family. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and refreshing vacation!
