Castaway Ocean Lodge is a lovely place to spend our week here in Nova Scotia.! The view of the harbour is spectacular. We've enjoyed a glorious week of Indian Summer traveling along the lighthouse trail. A few favourite slights were Peggy's Cove and Mahone Bay and the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Halifax. Enjoying a soak in the hot tub after driving all day was so relaxing. Great week!
We had a great time in Nova Scotia. Heading home tomorrow well rested from busy lives. We saw a dolphin ... and many seals at Kejimkujik sea side adjunct. It's a great day trip! Watching the surfers at the causway was cool too. Hope to be back again some day!
An incredibly relaxing escape, short walk down the lane to the beach and beautiful sunsets. Secluded yet accessible and close to Lockeport and Shelburne. Home was clean, comfortable, and enjoyed by our entire family. Pet friendly was an added bonus. Highly recommend this cottage.
