I had a very enjoyable and peaceful stay. Elm Tree Cottage has all the comforts that one would need for a decent stay. I was there for nearly 3 weeks and enjoyed coming back in the evening to this cosy little cottage. It is nicely decorated, great shower, comfortable bed, good kitchen and good internet. The owners live nearby such that if anything is needed (like losing the key) they are there to provide it. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The house was just perfect for us. We all loved going to the beach and exploring the area. The kides were fascinated by the wildlife. We will recommend the house to our family and friends.
Our stay at Summerset Cottage was great. The place was brand new, clean, and beautifully finished. It was incredibly comfortable and the nearby beach was fun to walk on and look for seashells.

DescriptionSandy Point Lighthouse Park and Community Centre is used for community events such as breakfasts and lobster suppers. There is a small beach and a few picnic tables in the park. The lighthouse is just offshore from the park. At low tide it is possible to walk out along the sandspit to the lighthouse.Directions: From Shelburne drive six miles (10 km) south on the Lighthouse Route to Sandy Point. The Sandy Point Lighthouse Park is on your right. Free parking.
