We loved Sand Hills and Shelburne - Chester was a bit too precious. Nova Scotians were so friendly and outgoing. But most of all we loved the unimpaired abiility here to relax and reflect.
WOW - What a scenic log cabin - we could have stayed here all week, but we enjoyed the lighthouse tours - so many wonderful villages with a different offerings. The hot tub was most enjoyable as well as the outdoor fire pit. We did roast marshmallows - felt like we were at camp again.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful, cozy cottage. The views are breathtaking and we really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. We hope to be back to this area very, very soon.

This beautiful cedar screened-in veranda extends the living area and is the perfect place to for an evening meal or to simply sit and enjoy the spectacular view of the Ocean without having to worry about any bugs.

DescriptionThis bright, sunny cottage is about 200 meters from the water line. It is set on a slight rise in elevation and enjoys a lovely view of Shelburne’s pristine harbour.Full of charm, the cottage features a well-equipped kitchen, living room, a separate dining room, three bedrooms and three washrooms. The large comfortable living room has bamboo floors, a propane fireplace and leather furnishings. There are three bedrooms – the master bedroom, downstairs, has a lovely view of the harbour, king size bed, TV, and an ensuite 4-piece washroom. There is a second 4-piece bathroom upstairs as well as a powder room on the ground floor. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs both with twin size beds. The upstairs landing with its comfortable leather couch and picture window take full advantage of the spectacular ocean view. A screened in cedar veranda overlooks the ocean and enhances the character of the house. It is a wonderful spot to sit and watch the yachts sail by and listen to soothing sounds of the ocean. LocationOcean's Tranquility Guest House is located in the small fishing community of Sandy Point - about 10 minutes from the historic town of Shelburne with its restaurants, shops and other conveniences. The shoreline is rolled beach stone - perfect for exploring and beach combing. It’s a short walk along the beach to a sandy spot.
