We have had a wonderfully peaceful and serene week here at Castaway Ocean Lodge and the hot tub has been a god send and has enabled us to be outside enjoying the veiw even through the wind and the rain. A fabulous haven that will live long in our memories!

The living room features bamboo floors, a propane fireplace and comfortable leather chairs. Walk out to the screened in porch for a tranquil mosquito-free evening.

DescriptionThis bright, sunny cottage is about 200 meters from the water line. It is set on a slight rise in elevation and enjoys a lovely view of Shelburne’s pristine harbour.Full of charm, the cottage features a well-equipped kitchen, living room, a separate dining room, three bedrooms and three washrooms. The large comfortable living room has bamboo floors, a propane fireplace and leather furnishings. There are three bedrooms – the master bedroom, downstairs, has a lovely view of the harbour, king size bed, TV, and an ensuite 4-piece washroom. There is a second 4-piece bathroom upstairs as well as a powder room on the ground floor. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs both with twin size beds. The upstairs landing with its comfortable leather couch and picture window take full advantage of the spectacular ocean view. A screened in cedar veranda overlooks the ocean and enhances the character of the house. It is a wonderful spot to sit and watch the yachts sail by and listen to soothing sounds of the ocean. LocationOcean's Tranquility Guest House is located in the small fishing community of Sandy Point - about 10 minutes from the historic town of Shelburne with its restaurants, shops and other conveniences. The shoreline is rolled beach stone - perfect for exploring and beach combing. It’s a short walk along the beach to a sandy spot. A little further along is the Sandy Point Lighthouse beach and community centre.Amenities
