Location
Bishop’s Bailiwick is located in the heart of Shelburne’s Historic District. This small area is architecturally unique with at least fifteen original wooden buildings dating back to the 18th Century.

Enjoy what life has to offer in a traditional Nova Scotia Town. Stroll along the boardwalk; kayak or canoe in the harbour; take sailing lessons at the Marina. This classical Italianate-style Victorian home was built in 1889 for a prosperous Blacksmith. Beautifully restored, this “Painted Lady” features ornate architectural highlights, a grand entranceway complete with sweeping staircase and stained glass window. Hardwood floors, a sunny breakfast nook, comfortable living and dining rooms complete the perfect picture.

A stone’s throw from the harbour and a short drive to any number of deserted beaches, Bishop’s Bailiwick offers a taste of Nova Scotia living. Number of Bedrooms
There are four bedrooms – two with queen size beds, one with a double and another with a twin bed. The Master bedroom features an antique bedroom suite with an imposing ornate headboard.

There are two four-piece bathrooms. Downstairs is a shower, and for those who love a soak in the tub, upstairs is a beautifully refinished, antique claw-foot bathtub. Bathroom linens are provided.
